d duàn 段耀钦 is an experimental a/v artist preoccupied with spectacle, tech, (para)text and spatial magik/rituals, living and playing on unceded Wurundjeri land. Their speculative multi-lingual multi-lore practice is bookended by an evolving philosophy of slow working~slow living~𝓅𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓈𝓊𝓇𝑒.
duàn is also the co-founder ALTAR SPACE, a studio/venue located in naarm's inner north––a new home for nurturing artistic risk-taking, collaboration and mutual-aid. ALTAR provides a physical and digital haven where artists can connect, experiment and develop their practice in slow, meaningful and social ways through residencies and curated events.
