They always pretend to not be locals and ask for direction, then when you speak to them they start asking a lot of personal questions, trying to asses whether or not you're could be a target. "Do you have any Korean friends" is also a classic. They will then ask you if you want to join an 'authentic Korean experience', which essentially means taking you 1 hour outside of Seoul to their lair where they put you into different clothes, and make you pray for 30 minutes - then ask for a donation, or if you want to come back regularly (join).
